Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) in Mg‐Al Alloys Studied using Compact Specimens
SCC parameters were measured for the Mg-Al alloys AZ91 and AZ31 in distilled water using C(T) specimens. SCC was associated with an increase in plastic zone size due to the influence H on the mobility of dislocations.
